1. Nature of the Products

The compounds we supply are sensitive laboratory reagents, usually in lyophilised form and requiring refrigerated or frozen storage. Once dispatched to you, the cold chain and storage conditions are outside our control. For this reason we cannot accept returns of products that have been delivered to you except in the specific circumstances set out below.

2. Damaged or Defective Goods

If your order arrives visibly damaged, tampered with, or with broken seals on any vial, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by email to sales@blackandwhitepeptide.co.uk. Please include:

• Your order number;
• Photos of the damaged packaging and affected items;
• A short description of the issue.

Where damage in transit is confirmed, we will – at our discretion – either replace the affected items at our expense or issue a refund in line with our Refund Policy.

3. Incorrect Items

If you have received an item different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Provided the item has not been reconstituted or the vial seal broken, we will arrange a return and send the correct item.

4. Items Not Received

If tracking shows your order as delivered but it has not arrived, please check with neighbours and any safe-place location first, then contact us within 7 days. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Outcomes are determined by the carrier’s investigation findings.

5. No Returns on Opened or Reconstituted Items

For biosafety, contamination and purity reasons, we cannot accept the return of any vial that has been reconstituted, had its seal broken, or otherwise been opened. Such returns will not be refunded or replaced.

6. Change of Mind

Because the products are temperature-sensitive reagents, we are unable to accept returns based on change of mind once an order has been dispatched. Please review your cart carefully before completing checkout.

7. How to Contact Us

All returns enquiries should be directed to sales@blackandwhitepeptide.co.uk. Please do not return any goods without first obtaining written authorisation from us; unauthorised returns cannot be processed.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Returns Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of England & Wales.
